Situated in the historical harbour and resort of Folkestone, the Southcliff Hotel is perfectly situated on the Leas, the town panoramic promenade. The property offers 75 comfortable en-suite rooms boasting either panoramic views of the English Channel and the lights of France (on a clear night) or the rolling green hills of the South Downs.

The Southcliff's 75 comfortable en-suite rooms, are all equipped with colour televisions and tea and coffee making facilities. Half the rooms have idyllic sea views, some with balconies. All areas within the hotel are accessible by lifts or stairs with adequate provision made for wheelchairs users.

On arrival at The Southcliff you will enter our recently refurbished, spacious reception area, with comfortable sofas, Chinese rugs, tastefully decorated in keeping with the architectural style of the building. Here our friendly hotel reception team will greet you.

Once you have checked in, viewed your room and everything is to your satisfaction, feel free to explore the remainder of the hotel. We have 'Clippers' our comfortably furbished residents bar offering a wide variety of refreshments and snacks, whilst you sit and relax enjoying the panoramic views over to the French coast. We also have a selection of traditional pub games including pool, darts and dominoes to keep you occupied during your stay.

Our large dinning room offers a wide range of meals to suit all tastes, in addition to our set meal plans we also offer for a small supplement, the opportunity to upgrade to an a la carte type menu. We have also put together a wine list to make you discover the different tastes and subtleties of different grapes and world locations to suit every pocket.

To keep you entertained in the evenings we have our 'Ocean' Ballroom that is fully equipped to dance the night away. The Ocean Ballroom with a capacity of between 200-250 people is also available for private functions. With a large dance floor it is ideal for wedding receptions, birthday and Christmas parties, dinner dances, line dancing festivals, horse racing dinners and themed nights, all personally customised for that special occasion.

The Ocean Ballroom also boasts quieter seating lounges, a fully stocked private bar and amenities.

Twin RoomOur spacious twin rooms are all en-suite with tea and coffee making facilities as well as a colour television. Built in the Victorian era, most rooms are spacious with high ceilings, giving an airy feel to the rooms.

Twin with BalconyOur twin rooms are all en-suite and come with bath or shower. These beautiful south facing twin rooms are equipped with a balcony and patio doors, to maximise the relaxing views of the Channel.
